DESCRIPTION:The match will be run on two separate days with four separate squads. Each squad will correlate with a specific day and time. Shooters will pick their squad based on the day and time they want to shoot. No-call-no-shows will not be allowed to shoot in the next match. This match will follow the USPSA safety rules\, but is not affiliated with USPSA. Shoot Indoors members will pay $20 and non-members will pay $30 at check in. Every month will alternate between Hit Factor and Time Plus. The match will consist of four stages and 80-120 rounds. DESCRIPTION:For this class\, you must pay in advance with a credit card.  Unpaid orders for seating will not be honored. \nOur AR-15 2.0 is the next class you’ll want to take after our Intro to AR-15.  We have developed this class just for you! \nYou will need to bring your personal rifle One hundred-forty to One hundred-fifty rounds of 5.56 or .223 Remington ammunition (NO M855 GREEN TIP AMMO ALLOWED).  We recommend using the rifle you expect to use for self-defense or for target-shooting purposes; in other words\, the gun with which you want to get better!  Expect a lot more trigger time under supervised instruction.  We do limit class size so that the instructors can devote individual attention to help you improve your gun handling and gain confidence in shooting your handgun. \nIf you do not yet have your own rifle\, rental guns are available for a $10 fee from our range desk\, but you’ll be better served by learning with the gun you expect to carry or shoot on a regular basis. \nOur AR-15 2.0 class focuses on building your skills with: \n\nmarksmanship fundamentals\, sight alignment\, steady hold\, and trigger break.\nA conversation about mechanical offset\, and a verification of the 25 yard zero\, which is the most important part of the course.\nOnce zero has been verified\, we’ll shoot positions\, supported\, unsupported\, sitting/ or kneeling\, standing\, etc. exercise those marksmanship principles discussed earlier.\n\nAll in a safe and fun environment! \nAS MENTIONED ABOVE\, BRING YOUR PERSONAL RIFLE TO THIS CLASS! \nWith our instructors’ experience in teaching and hands-on training\, you can be confident that the training you’ll receive is among the best in the industry. \nImportant to Know… \n1) This class is for those who have prior rifle experience only! DESCRIPTION:This is the 2026 Utah Law Enforcement Handgun Championship match hosted by Waypoint Training.\nThis will be a police officer only match with a large random draw prize table\, 14 stages\, awards for the top three in each division\, and shirts for each competitor. We anticipate a number of sponsors being on site and are planning to have food/snacks available for the shooters.\nThere will be three competitive divisions\, Patrol\, Patrol Optics\, and Practical. A Sponsor division is just for fun and is essentially our open division. It’s the same divisions and rule sets created by Jared Stepp and Jeremy Dunn that have been used in other matches. A complete ruleset will be attached to this signup shortly.\nThis will be held at the Big Salty Range behind Lee Kay\, just west of Salt Lake City.  If you aren’t sure\, Google it. It’s there.\nIt costs $80. Totally worth it. Get your department to pay for it. You get a shirt\, a great match\, and an awesome prize table (historically we've given away around $40\,000 - $50\,000 in stuff each match\, but each year varies). We also will be making some challenge coins for the match. You can preorder them for $20 at the bottom of this page.\nFull refunds will be allowed until a month out from the match (half refund until two weeks out\, no refunds after that). After that we start ordering and buying things\, so I can't really refund you. #sorrynotsorry\nInfo for the match.\nSign ups. You sign up right here on this page and you pay on this page. Once I receive the payment\, you should get an email that says you are approved to squad. You then pick what squad you want to be on\, so you can shoot with your friends. You need to understand something. If you don't sign up on time and can't shoot with your friends\, that is a you problem. Sign up and shoot together. I can't squad you with friends if there aren't spots left on their squad.\nDIVISIONS\nPatrol rules are simple. It is your current duty weapon. You can only load 15 rounds in your gun. You must use a duty style holster. It must have at least one level of ACTIVE retention (ie ALS\, SLS\, etc). That’s it. No red dots\, porting/muzzle brakes\, or crazy stuff in this division (even if it’s your duty gun). Most guys will have glocks/M&Ps/P320s etc in this division.\nPatrol optics is the exact same rules as patrol\, but slide mounted red dots are allowed. Aka Glock MOS with RMR or M&P core with a Deltapoint. Still no porting\, compensators\, or anything wild in here (even if it’s your duty gun).  Again\, 15 rounds only.\nPractical is the "competition" division. This division is also where retired/former officers can compete. It’s essentially Limited Optics from USPSA\, but iron sights are also allowed if you are stuck in the 20th century.\nThe sponsor division is for dudes donating to the match that won’t be competing against the coppers for awards or prizes\, but wanna have fun. This is the open division. Follow standard USPSA open division rules (which are very very lenient).\nAny questions\, please feel free to text me at 801-610-9539. If you are new to shooting\, please familiarize yourself with these rules prior to shooting with us.\nWAITLIST: If you are approved off of the waitlist\, you will have 1 hour to pay your match fee before being withdrawn from the match and your slot is given to the next shooter on the list.\nMatch Credits will only be given to those shooters who withdraw on Practiscore by Monday at 6pm prior to the match. If you don't show and don't withdraw by 6pm on Monday\, you will NOT be given a match credit. There are NO refunds. If you have a match credit\, you'll have 6 months to use it before it is forfeited.\n***NOTE***If you register and then later initiate a credit card dispute before speaking to the match/division director\, you will not be allowed to preregister for our matches going forward.
